Job Description
- Applicants working at this post are appointed to assist with special events and school field trips working at this post.
- Applicants are also required to perform computer work using various software and use of audio-visual equipment working at this post.
Job requirement
- Applicants must have dedicated experience or knowledge in interpretation techniques such as storytelling, demonstration, theatre programs or guided walks working at this post.
- Candidates are also appointed to ensure knowledge of the natural history and special features of Cape Breton Highlands National Park to be preferred for this post.
- They must have prior proficiency in English and French, or English to get preferred for this post.
- Applicants must ensure their willingness to wear a Parks Canada uniform to get preferred for this post.
- Candidates for this post must ensure their willingness to work and travel in varied terrain, weather conditions, and various isolated locations to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have dedicated possession and maintenance of a valid driver’s license or personal mobility to the extent normally associated with the possession of a valid driver’s license to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Applicants must ensure their willingness to work varied hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must attain the willingness to stand or walk for prolonged periods and meet the physical demands of the job to be preferred for this post.
