Job description

  • The candidate will be required to supervise technicians.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise technologists.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise other engineers.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise around 3-4 people.
  • The candidate will be required to designs.
  • The candidate will be required to approve designs.
  • The candidate will be required to approve calculations.
  • The candidate will be required to approve cost estimates.
  • The candidate will be required to confer with clients and other members of the engineering team.
  • The candidate will be required to conduct research to determine project requirements.
  • The candidate will be required to develop construction specifications and procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to valuate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials.
  • The candidate will be required to ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations.
  • The Work Setting is a consulting engineering company.
  • The candidate will be required to work in various locations.

Requirements

  • The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in the concerned field.
  • The candidate should have an experience of at least five years.
  • The candidate should have a registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • The candidate should have specialization in Construction.
  • The candidate should have specialization in Structural engineering.
  • The candidate should have additional specialization in Residential construction.
  • The candidate should have additional specialization in Industrial, commercial and institutional construction.
  • The candidate should have Computer and Technology Knowledge.
  • The candidate should have knowledge on Project management software.
  • The candidate should have knowledge on MS Office.
  • The candidate should pay attention to detail.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate should have excellent oral communication skills.
