Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to assist health care professionals.
  • The candidate will be required to set up and dismantle equipment.
  • The candidate will be expected to clean and maintain equipment.
  • The candidate will be expected to arrange surgical instruments.
  • The candidate must prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
  • The candidate will be required to reassemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to hospital departments.
  • The candidate will be responsible for labelling and processing donated blood.
  • The candidate must operate and maintain sterilisation equipment and re-use instrumentation in accordance with standardised safety practises.
  • The candidate will be expected to maintain supplies.
  • The candidate must maintain an inventory of equipment.
  • The candidate will be expected to prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas.
  • The candidate will be expected to place orders for supplies and equipment.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in French language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have a CPR certificate.
  • The candidate should be accurate
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate should have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
