Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for developing and documenting software test plans.
• The candidate must install software and hardware and configure operating system software in preparation for testing.
• The candidate must execute and document the results of software application tests, as well as information and telecommunication system tests.
• The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing software and information system testing policies and procedures.
• The candidate must mark defects that need to be repaired.
• The candidate will be responsible for maintaining test result reports.
• The candidate will be responsible for conducting tests to ensure quality or detect defects.
• The candidate must complete test and maintenance reports.
• The candidate will be responsible for analyzing technical documents and reports.
• The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the collection and tracking of data from monitored use of services.
• The candidate will be responsible for developing and conducting design verification simulations, as well as prototype bench tests of components.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
• The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
