Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for ordering food and kitchen supplies.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- The candidate must train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- The candidate must ensure that the food and service meet quality control standards.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and waste.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising and checking assembly of trays.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 3 to 4 people.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising general cooks, food service counter attendants and food preparers, and kitchen and food service helpers.
- The candidate must have a Smart Serve and Safe Food Handling certificate.
- The candidate should be client focused.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate should be flexible.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
- The candidate should be dependable.
Experience and specialization
Applied meteorology or biometeorology
- The candidate must specialize in applied meteorology or biometeorology, with a focus on energy.
