Edmonton Pump Service situated in Lloydminster, AB is currently looking for applications for the role of Service technician – gas appliances who is a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. The selected candidate for this position will be expected to start work promptly. The available positions are for Permanent employment or Full time job. The shift times for this position are Day, Overtime, On Call, 08:00 to 16:30.

Job Description

  • The candidate must prepare written estimates of repair costs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults using testing equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for repairing electrical appliances and components.
  • The candidate must replace faulty components.
  • The candidate must advise customers on the work completed and the condition of the equipment.
  • The candidate must use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • Candidate having experience is an asset.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.

Work setting

  • The candidate should have an on-site customer service system where employees work in an office or business location.
  • The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.

  • The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
