Job Description

  • The candidate must be able to serve food and beverages.
  • The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers checks, or room billings.
  • The candidate will be responsible for taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff.
  • The candidate will be required to describe menu items including daily specials for customers
  • The candidate will be expected to greet customers, present menus, make recommendations, and respond to questions about food and beverages.
  • The candidate would be responsible for addressing customer complaints or concerns in timely fashion.
  • The candidate will be required to clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
  • The candidate must balance cash and record sales.
  • The candidate must be of legal drinking age in order to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
  • The candidate must ensure quality service in the dining room and serve meals.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
  • The candidate will be required to follow health regulations regarding cleanliness.
  • The candidate will be expected to follow safety regulations.
  • The candidate will be required to clean work area.
  • The candidate would be in charge of ensuring accuracy when entering orders into the POS system.
  • The candidate will be in charge of assisting clients/guests with special needs.
  • The candidate would be responsible for monitoring the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served.
  • The candidate must ensure that the food is served in the proper portion, arrangement, and garnish.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of College or CEGEP.
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum 1 to 2 years of working experience in similar industry.
  • The candidate must have CPR Certificate and Smart Serve License.
  • The candidate should be a good team player with enough interpersonal and judge-mental skills.
  • The candidate should have excellent oral communication.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
