Job Description
- Candidates applying for this post are required to develop, review and implement detailed plans, policies, guidelines, and procedures regarding the City’s perpetual care of former closed landfills program working at this post.
- People who applied for this post are also accountable for assisting in the preparation of capital and operating budget, project scope and financial impact of projects/proposals working at this post.
- Applicants who applied for this post are accountable for providing support for the strategic planning and infrastructure planning activities associated with the SWMS infrastructure assets working at this post.
- People applied for this post to prepare or review and advise on studies, plans, specifications and designs regarding the construction and/or modification of SWMS systems and infrastructure working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain post-secondary education in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, and Environmental Studies to be eligible for this post.
- They must have extensive experience in the planning and execution of capital projects in a municipal context.People applying for this post must have experience in dealing with Environmental, regulatory or other permits or Approvals related to capital projects.
- People accountable at this post must possess a valid Province of Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence and have access to a vehicle to travel to various work locations in a timely and efficient manner to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
