Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to act as resource persons for internal public inquiry on assigned projects and program activities.
- They are also required at this post to supervise the work of multidisciplinary and inter-divisional project teams, as required.
- Applicants at this post are required to ensure contracts are in place with various vendors for procurement and installation and coordinate with Contractors working at this post.
- Applicants for this post are required to advise and respond to requests from senior management and the Division Head on project issues, status and technical matters.
Job requirement
- They must attain dedicated post-secondary education in engineering, planning, policy, and project management along with prior project management experience to be eligible for this post.
- They must acquire a dedicated possession of a Project Management Professional Certification to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the ability to provide contract administration support, such as preparations of RFPs, RFQs and vendor contract negotiations to get preferred for this post.
- They must ensure the ability to draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have maintained highly developed human relations, communication, negotiation, analytical and conflict resolution skills to be preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Coordinates public consultation meetings in collaboration with elected officials concerning the impacts of large-scale and complex projects.
- Ensures excellent customer service is provided to both external and internal clients.
