Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to provide consultation, and clinical guidance/education to parents, guardians, and outside agencies to establish appropriate programming and follow-up on the rehabilitation of clients and improve CPRI programs applied for this post.
- People who applied for this post are also required to design individual or group programming for staff to implement with occupational therapy clients working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to participate in established clinical research projects applied for this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates working in this post must be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have graduated from a course in occupational therapy from a university of recognized standing or an approved training course of equivalent standing to be considered as an asset for this post.
- People must be able to travel within the service area to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have excellent communication skills ensuring communication amongst team members and the community to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must be able to teach clinical skills to therapists and/or community persons to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates who applied for this post must be able to organize, prioritize and schedule clients while working independently to carry out occupational therapy services working at this post.
- Candidates must have analytical and reasoning skills to establish, on a multi-disciplinary level, appropriate therapeutic goals and design individual or group programming to be eligible for this post.
