Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are responsible for monitoring, controlling and redirecting major programs and complex projects during the execution phase.
- Candidates are also appointed at this post to prepare various business documents and cases for the management of distribution assets concerning reliability standards working at this post.
- Candidates for this post are appointed to participate as a representative of the Company before regulatory agencies, etc, in endeavours to advance the corporate interests.
- Candidates for this post are appointed at this post to maintain an awareness of advancing technology developments in transmission and distribution.
- They must assist the supervisor in identifying resource needs and develop or mentor new staff working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a dedicated 4-year University degree in engineering and a degree in electrical engineering to be eligible for this post.
- They must have dedicated knowledge of electrical power systems and equipment as well as the design and performance of the transmission system to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must require knowledge of electrical theory related to electrical power systems and equipment to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates for this post must have excellent knowledge of Hydro One’s External Regulatory Environment.
- They must acquire excellent knowledge of NERC and NPCC reliability standards to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates for this post must have excellent analytical skills to evaluate Hydro One’s reliability compliance posture, perform root cause analysis and recommend effective solutions to be eligible for this post.
