Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are required to develop comprehensive reports on financial transactions and trends, including their impact on program subsidies and funding.
- They’re also required to complete financial research and analysis and participate in policy and program formulation.
- Candidates are also required at this post to review and assess risk management activities, processes and trends, and make recommendations to ensure that risks to the City are minimized.
- They’re appointed at this post to develop, document and implement effective business processes for a new funding model.
- Candidates for this post are required to identify opportunities for improvement and maximization of the use of resources.
- They’re also appointed at this post to supervise assigned staff, including the planning and organization of assignments to achieve project objectives and tight time schedules.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting or another related field with relevant working experience to be eligible for this post.
- They must acquire experience with database applications, accounting systems, and spreadsheet, presentation and word processing applications.
- Candidates must have dedicated experience using Excel to manage large quantities of data and conduct detailed data analysis.
- Candidates must acquire possession of a CPA designation to be eligible for this post.
- They must have excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey technical financial issues clearly and concisely.
