Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are accountable for providing project management, technical expertise, and engineering knowledge on the planning, design, and construction of the City’s most complex and critical bridge infrastructure projects working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to provide asset management services for the City’s bridge, culvert, and retaining wall inventory through inspection, budgeting, programming, and coordination working at this post.
- Candidates accountable at this post to assist in preparing capital and operating budgets and perform site inspections and assessments of changed conditions on construction projects working at this post.
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to direct multidisciplinary project team staff and mentor other professional engineers and technical personnel working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed a post-secondary education degree or diploma in civil and structural engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience to be eligible for this post.
- They must have extensive experience in the application of the principles of civil and structural engineering and materials and methods of construction, rehabilitation and upgrading to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have considerable experience in developing reports, RFPs/proposals and presentations to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain experience in client management and communicating with a diverse group of stakeholders to be eligible for this post.
