Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to lead the planning and implementation of collaborative engagement and consultation processes with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Candidates who applied for this post are also required to prepare briefing materials, papers, and presentation materials on various ministry evaluation topics and reporting approaches applied for this post.
  •  Candidates working at this post are appointed to lead the collection and analysis of economic data, studies, and reports to support policy analysis and development of mining and northern economic development including resource revenue sharing working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • They must have project management skills to plan, lead and manage assigned policy evaluation projects and manage a budget to be considered as an asset for this post.
  •  They must have superb organizational skills to plan projects, initiatives and consultation processes, and to integrate opposing interests to be considered as a precious asset for this post.
  • They must have applied knowledge of policy research, development, analysis and evaluation principles and practices to lead the development of a strategic evaluation plan to be considered as an asset for this post.

Work setting 

  • Applicants must interpret and apply legislation, regulations and policies relevant to natural resource management and northern development in Ontario to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must attain dedicated knowledge of natural resource management and northern development principles and practices to lead policy projects and provide advice.
