Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a dedicated technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in forestry, plant biology, agriculture, horticulture, or a related field to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have dedicated enrollment or completion of relevant coursework in a related field PLUS 6 months of related experience.
- They must attain secondary school graduation or equivalent, PLUS 1 year of related experience within the last 5 years.
- Candidates must attain an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- They must attain a valid BC Class 5, 7N, or equivalent Driver’s Licence to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain an intermediate or higher level of experience with Microsoft Office software or Word, Excel, and Outlook and database applications to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain dedicated experience in a labour-intensive or outdoor work environment to be eligible for this post.
- They must have experience operating machinery and equipment to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain dedicated working experience in related fields like forestry, biology, agriculture, horticulture, soil science, botany, tree physiology, dendrology, or genetics to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must acquire related experience like tree planting, nursery operations, horticulture, farming, gardening, or landscaping to be eligible for this post.
