Job Description

  • The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals as well as individual dishes and foods.
  • The candidate must prepare dishes for customers who have food allergies or intolerances.
  • The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas.
  • The candidate must train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.
  • The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff and assistants.
  • The candidate must keep inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • The candidate must clean the kitchen and work areas.
  • The candidate will be responsible for recruiting and hiring staff.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have a Food Safety Certificate.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
