Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to deliver what matters most to our customers- safely and efficiently working at this post.
- People applying for this post are appointed and assigned to a designated geographical area and deliver packages to our customer’s door by foot working at this post.
- Candidates are also appointed to assist the UPS Driver in delivering parcels and packages on foot, near or around the agreed meet point working at this post.
- People who applied for this post are also appointed to assist in the pick-up of parcels and packages from various UPS Stores and customer locations in the assigned area working at this post.
- Candidates are also accountable for performing physical work in a fast-paced environment including continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must be able to deliver and pick up packages by means of walking and to work outside in all weather conditions to be eligible for this post.
- They must be able to occasionally lift 70 lbs unassisted and must be able to operate electronic scanning equipment.
- Candidates must be able to meet with UPS Drivers in assigned meet points every day to be eligible for this post.
- There is no license required for this position to be eligible for this post.
