Job Description

  • The candidate must assign and correct homework.
  • The candidate must develop the course content.
  • The candidate will be responsible for evaluating student progress and discussing results with parents, students, and school officials.
  • The candidate will be expected to participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
  • The candidate must prepare and deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia.
  • The candidate must prepare subject material for presentation in accordance with an approved curriculum.
  • The candidate will be responsible for preparing, administering, and correcting tests.
  • The candidate must provide tutoring assistance.
  • The candidate will be responsible for teaching students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and laboratory, shop, and field studies.
  • The candidate must lead students in activities that promote their physical, mental, and social development, as well as their school readiness.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have a Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate.
  • The candidate should be accurate.

  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
