Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are required to lead, participate and support site committees such as JHSC, Incident Reduction Committee, Ergonomics Committee, Safety Stars, Noise, etc.
- They’re accountable at this post for analyzing Workplace Safety data and communicating results and trends along with continuous improvement opportunities working at this post.
- People who applied for this post are also accountable for participating in the successful development and execution of the annual Workplace Safety BPD action plans at the site working at this post.
- They applied for this post and are required to develop and conduct Workplace Safety training for new and current employees.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 + years of experience in a full-time Workplace Safety, Ergonomics, or Industrial Hygiene position to be eligible for this post.
- They must have dedicated knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates must demonstrate a high level of initiative and interpersonal skills to work effectively with others to be preferred for this post.
- People applying for this post must attain the ability to take the initiative and work on multiple assignments at one time with proven project and time management skills to be considered as an asset for this post.
Work setting
- People who apply for this post are also required to conduct safety audits, hazard assessments through task analysis, risk assessments and workplace inspections and recommend corrective actions working at this post.
