Job Description

  • The candidate must provide information/training to employers, employees, and the general public.
  • The candidate must inspect workplaces for safety and health hazards.
  • The candidate must investigate workplace accidents or illnesses.
  • The candidate must developย and implement health and safety plans.
  • The candidate must ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.
  • The candidate will be responsible for training, directing, and motivating employees.
  • The candidate must respond to employee inquiries and complaints.
  • The candidate must plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies.
  • The candidate must plan and control budgets and expenditures.
  • The candidate will be expected to oversee the preparation of reports.
  • The candidate must negotiate collective bargaining agreements on behalf of employers or workers.
  • The candidate must manage training and development strategies.
  • The candidate must develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • The candidate must organise and manage staff consultation and grievance procedures.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must have a certificate or diploma from a one-year to two-year College, CEGEP, or other non-university program.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
