Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production workers who operate processing machines and fabricate, assemble, finish, or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products.
  • The candidate will be expected to make recommendations for personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare production and other reports.
  • The candidate must recommend measures to increase productivity and product quality.
  • The candidate will be responsible for setting up machines and equipment.
  • The candidate will be expected to train employees/staff on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be able to supervise 3 to 4 people.
  • The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • The candidate should have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.

Work site environment

  • The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
  • The candidate must be able to work in dusty and hot conditions.
