Job Description

The candidate must assess patients in order to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
The candidate must work with others to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, addressing, documenting, and reporting symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
The candidate must participate in community needs assessment and program development.
The candidate must be able to provide nursing care.
The candidate will be responsible for supervising licenced practical nurses and other nursing staff.
The candidate must perform administrative tasks.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
Candidate having experience is an asset.
The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.
The candidate must have a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate and CPR Certificate.
The candidate must be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in their province/territory of employment and licensed by provincial or territorial authorities.
The candidate should be accurate.
