Job Description
- The candidate must assign duties to sales workers.
- The candidate must hire and train or arrange for staff training.
- The candidate must order merchandise.
- The candidate must authorize the return of merchandise.
- The candidate must establish work schedules.
- The candidate will be responsible for selling merchandise.
- The candidate will prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
- The candidate must resolve issues that may arise, such as customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the workers’ activities.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.
- The candidate will supervise cashiers, grocery clerks, shelf stockers, retail salespersons and sales clerks.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in a retail business, purchase goods from a manufacturer or a wholesaler and sell these goods to consumers in small quantities.
- The candidate should have an on-site customer service system where employees work in an office or business location.
