Esso Gas Station based in Kapuskasing, ON is looking for the position of Retail Store Supervisor who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to full time or permanent employment. Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to sell goods and services to customers
  • During the product’s warranty period, the candidate would be responsible for returning the product to receive a refund, replacement, or repair.
  • The candidate would be in charge of assigning duties to sales workers.
  • The candidate would be responsible in resolving problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
  • The candidate will be required to supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
  • The candidate will be responsible for inventory organisation and management.
  • The candidate would be responsible for the daily running of stores.
  • The candidate will be required to entails activities to minimize costs while maximizing profits.
  • The candidate must ensure that promotions are accurate and in compliance with company standards.
  • The candidate will be required to make sure that all staff are fully informed on the target for the day, and ensure that customer care is top priority.
  • The candidate would be responsible for marketing, promotion, and advertising of products intended for retail sale.
  • The candidate would be responsible for preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
  • The candidate will be responsible in evaluating the supply and availability of stocks, and profit-margins.

  • The candidate would be responsible for inspecting company equipment regularly to ensure maintenance.
  • The candidate should be able to handle retail staff job functions and reconcile registers per shifts.

  • The candidate will be required to understand and manage Product Knowledge and be responsible for Store Team Members.
  • To drive business, the candidate should be responsible for assessing customer profiles, purchasing trends, and competitive information.
  • The candidate will be able to communicate merchandise opportunities to the Store Manager.
  • The candidate must ensure that hours of operation are in compliance with local laws
