Job Description 

  • Candidates are appointed to conduct secondary research including review of best/promising practices and plans in various industries working at this post. 
  • They’re also appointed to research to support the preparation of briefing notes on policy initiatives for senior management.
  • Candidates are also appointed to develop and implement detailed plans and develop options and recommendations for policies or procedures regarding program-specific requirements.
  • They’re appointed at this post to provide input into and administer the assigned budget. 
  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to present options and recommendations for programs and policies that could impact organization structure re-modelling and staff across the organization.
  • They’re appointed to attend strategic meetings with senior management working at this post. 
  • Candidates are also appointed to keep up-to-date on relevant research and coordinate with relevant divisional staff on project-related data analysis.

Job requirement 

  • They must have post-secondary education in Public Policy and Administration, Business Administration, Intergovernmental Relations, and Planning to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates must have dedicated experience in conducting research, analysis, summarizing findings and creating graphic presentations.
  • They must acquire experience preparing and writing clear and succinct reports and recommendations on policy and administrative issues. 
  • They must acquires knowledge of government structure, policies and decision-making processes to get preferred for this post. 
  • They must attain excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to handle and resolve difficult situations professionally.

Work setting 

  • Candidates must attain the ability to exercise political acumen, sound judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential operational matters.
