Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for administering medications.
• The candidate must apply aseptic techniques, including sterile dressing.
• The candidate must record medication’s therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files.
• The candidate must clean and sterilize the operating room and instruments.
• The candidate must provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
• The candidate will be responsible for providing nursing services to patients within a defined scope of practise based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
• The candidate must monitor patients’ progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
• The candidate must assess patients in order to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
• The candidate must provide consulting services regarding issues relevant to nursing practice and the nursing profession.
• The candidate will be responsible for supervising licenced practical nurses and other nursing personnel.
• The candidate must be able to provide nursing care.
• The candidate must ensure that quality nursing care is provided to patients.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be bilingual.
• The candidate must have education from a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, with credentials in fields such as registered nursing (RN, ASN, BSN, BScN, MSN, MScN), primary health care nursing or family practice nursing, nursing administration, nursing research and clinical nursing, licensed practical/vocational nurse training (LPN, LVN, RPN, Certificate, Diploma, AAS), or practical nursing, vocational nursing, and nursing assistant programs.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

• The candidate should receive free parking; there is no additional charge for parking on the property.
