Job Description
- The candidate must administer medications.
- The candidate must conduct specimen collection.
- The candidate will be responsible for ensuring infection control.
- The candidate must observe and record the therapeutic and side effects of medications.
- The candidate must record medication’s therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files.
- The candidate must take vital signs.
- The candidate must provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing nursing services to patients within a defined scope of practise based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate must be eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province or territory of work and have a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.
- The candidate should be client focused.

- The candidate must have specialized environmental skills and knowledge.

- The candidate must be knowledgeable about palliative care, drug addiction, rehabilitation, mental health, and emergency care.
