Job Description

• The candidate must address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
• The candidate must assess patients in order to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
• The candidate must collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
• The candidate must deliver health education programs.
• The candidate must deliver immunization programs.
• The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• The candidate must engage in nursing-related research activities.
• The candidate must operate or monitor medical equipment or apparatus.
• The candidate must provide consulting services on matters pertaining to nursing practice and the nursing profession.
• The candidate must be able to provide nursing care.
• The candidate will be responsible for administering medications and providing advanced emergency treatment to patients.
• The candidate must perform administrative duties.
• The candidate will be responsible for prescribing and administering medications and treatments.
• The candidate must maintain accurate records.
• The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the filing system.
• The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment.
• The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
• The candidate will be responsible for initiating and maintaining confidential medical files and records.
• The candidate must establish and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers and community service providers who work with children.
• The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that safety procedures are followed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the province/territory in which they work, as well as licensed as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.

Work setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate whether the candidate would be ready to move into a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work in a hospital/medical facility or clinic.
