Job Description
- The candidate must assess patients in order to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
- The candidate must work with others to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
- The candidate must deliver health education programs.
- The candidate must deliver immunization programmes.
- The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- The candidate will be expected to participate in nursing-related research activities.
- The candidate must manage home care cases.
- The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, addressing, documenting, and reporting symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
- The candidate will be expected to provide consultative services on issues pertaining to the nursing profession and nursing practise.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising licenced practical nurses and other nursing personnel.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be licensed as a registered nurse by provincial or territorial authorities and have a CPR and First Aid certificate.
Work setting
- The candidate must work in a nursing home or home for the elderly.
