Job requirement
- Candidates must have dedicated knowledge of and an ability to apply advanced nursing processes and current nursing practice to ensure that the obstetrical clients’ physical, emotional, psycho-social, spiritual and educational needs are met.
- They must attain the ability to operate or use standard medical equipment.
- Candidates must attain the ability to provide training, advice and assessment using specialized equipment, medications, tools and techniques.
- They must have a nursing degree with at least 1 year of experience in obstetrics to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have equivalent combinations of education and experience to be eligible for this post.
- They must have dedicated knowledge of and an ability to network resources within and outside Stanton to ensure the support of clients and their families.
- Candidates must have Registration under RNANT/NU before commencement of employment to be eligible for this post.
- They must have proof of immunization in keeping with current public health practices.
- Candidates must be enrolled in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program and acute care of At-Risk Newborns certification.
- Candidates must have applicable certifications from the Canadian Nursing Association to be eligible for this post.
- They must have the ability to operate desktop computers to send and receive electronic mail and conduct research over the Internet to be eligible for this post.
