Job Description 

  • Applicants working at this post are responsible for making effective decisions surrounding field investigation, estimating, interfaces and documentation for customer service work and capital work working at this post.
  • Candidates are also required to plan and coordinate the completion of operating, cost-effective and quality-based manner using computerized software working at this post. 
  • They’re also responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers, by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • They’re also appointed at this post to be required to take Standby on a rotational basis working at this post. 
  • Candidates at this post are accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates working at this post must have completed Grade XII education or equivalent or possess an Inter-Provincial Red Seal Powerline Technician Certificate with one year’s experience to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates for this post must be successful applicants, adaptable to change and self-motivated individuals who are committed to optimizing their daily work to get preferred for this post. 
  • Candidates must acquire previous project management experience handling multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates for this post must be able to effectively utilize their strong administration, organizational, coordination, and time management skills.

Work setting 

  • Applicants must have a valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License with a minimum of two years of driving experience and provide a driver’s abstract satisfactory to NSPI to be eligible for this post.
