Job Description

  • The candidate must demonstrate and teach athletic, fitness, or sports activities and techniques.
  • The candidate will be responsible for instructing groups and individuals in arts and crafts.
  • The candidate must assist with special events.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for planning and carrying out recreational, fitness, and sportsย activities.
  • The candidate must prepare reports.
  • The candidate must understand the principles of group dynamics.
  • The candidate must schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records, and prepare reports.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading/instructing groups.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading/instructing individuals.
  • The candidate will be responsible for patrolling/supervising activities.
  • The candidate must provide lifestyle awareness information.
  • The candidate must conductย therapeutic recreational or athletic activities.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assisting clients/guests with special needs.
  • The candidate must ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assembling supplies, sports, and game equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for monitoring recreational, sports, and fitness activities to ensure their safety and providing emergency or first aid assistance as needed.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades.
  • Candidate having experience is an asset.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising 3 to 4 people, 5 to 10 people, and 11 to 15 people.
  • The candidate must have a First Aid Certificate.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
