Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are required to accurately and safely perform the deliveries and pick up of records.
- Applicants at this post are also appointed to ensure all tasks and workflows are followed with accuracy and to the expected standards and procedures working at this post.
- They’re also required to verify with accuracy the box contents for records for accessions and destructions working at this post.
- Candidates at this post are also appointed to monitor and track Records Centre activities and update SharePoint team sites working at this post.
- Applicants are also appointed to utilize the Records Management system to fulfil required Records Centre functions working at this post.
- Candidates for this post are required to upkeep, maintain and safeguard the Records Centre including cleanliness, managing access, and health and safety working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates for this post must have a minimum grade 12 education to be eligible for this post.
- They must have a valid Ontario “G” license with a clean driver’s abstract to get preferred for this post.
- Applicants must have completed courses related to records management to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have prior knowledge of Records Management principles including records retention scheduling to be eligible for this post.
- They must have 12 months of previous experience working in document management to be preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Applicants for this post must have prior knowledge of relevant safety procedures and regulations.
- Applicants must attain the ability to adhere to safe work practices that apply in a warehouse setting and handle equipment to be preferred for this post.
