Job description
- All candidates will be responsible for delivery of connecting and local baggage within standards and in support of successful achievement of Key Performance Indicators.
- They also have to operate and position all required ground service equipment airside and perform basic ground service equipment maintenance checks.
- The monitoring and support of parked and RON aircraft will be done by candidates.
- They will also report Safety Hazards and incidents to the Ramp Service Agent / Leadership Team and other functions associated with the safe and efficient operations of the ramp.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a valid Provincial Driver’s License (PDL), and can produce a clean driver’s abstract.
- They also must have the ability to work shift work like early mornings, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
- Candidates must have basic computer skills.
- Candidates are also responsible for demonstrated passion for providing outstanding guest care.
- They must be proficient in reading the English language.
Work setting
- All candidates must have the ability to work up to 12-hour shifts.
- They also must be physical fit and be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- All candidates must be able to successfully obtain and maintain an Airside Vehicle Operator’s permit (AVOP/DA) within two months of hire.
