Job Description

  • The candidate must provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
  • The candidate will be responsible for delivering health education programs.
  • The candidate must communicate with other social service agencies and healthcare providers that work with clients.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have a CPR Certificate and First Aid certificate.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in a public or community health centre. Providers may work in medical clinics, community health centers, and allied health practices like physiotherapy and podiatry.
