Job Description
- Candidates are appointed to prepare project plans, reports and status updates for senior staff, City Council and/or public reference.
- They’re also appointed to assist in the design, construction and maintenance of transportation assets. Assists in setting technical standards and specifications.
- Candidates are appointed to supervise project team members and support staff, including work term students and provide coverage of Supervisor when required.
- They are also required to manage multiple and complex assignments and provide support to Engineering Technologists on complex issues.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a dedicated post-secondary education degree in civil engineering.
- Candidates must attain dedicated experience leading project teams and developing collaborative internal and external business relationships.
- They must dedicate dedicated knowledge of traffic engineering technologies, theories and practices.
- Candidates must attain the dedicated knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply legislation and technical documents such as the Highway Traffic Act.

- Candidates must attain the ability to effectively delegate tasks and provide work direction to staff.
