Job description
- The candidates must attain experience to coordinate resources and briefing materials for the General Manager for committee meetings and City Council meetings.
- They will develop and maintain a good knowledge of divisional operations and policy to assist in identifying and addressing potential risk areas.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have Post-secondary education in Public Administration, Public Policy or a discipline pertinent to the job function or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- They must have considerable experience in conducting research, analysis as well as interpreting large volumes of data, and summarizing findings.
- Candidates must have the ability to excellent skills in the use of MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Work setting
- Candidates must have the ability to prepare responses, reports and correspondence on behalf of the Manager as required.
- They have to represent the Manager as required at meetings within the Division or with corporate counterparts.
- They should have supported the General Manager in responding to requests for materials and presentations.
