Job description
- Candidates will report to the Manager of Design and Construction.
- They are a part of a dynamic team of professionals under the leadership of the Construction Supervisor.
- Candidates are responsible for the project management of small to large complex municipal infrastructure.
- They will develop and manage request for proposals and quotes.
- They will develop service contracts, tender contract documents and cost estimates.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a three (3) year community college diploma as a Civil Engineering Technologist or equivalent education.
- They must have a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in Civil Engineering.
- They must have three (3) years of progressive experience in the design.
- They must know about project management, project administration and coordination of linear municipal infrastructure.
Work setting
- Candidates must have a valid Class G license in good standing with access to a personal vehicle.
- They must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- They must have strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple and changing demands and priorities.
