Project Administrative Secretary 

Toronto Transit Commission has released a notification in which they’re inviting candidates for the post of Project administrative secretary. They’re appointed to plan and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the department. They’re also appointed to prepare and assist in the preparation of documents, presentations, and reports for use by the department, and distribute to the appropriate parties following established standards. Job Description 

  • Candidates will also have to prepare and assist with the preparation of correspondence and communication materials on behalf of the department, review and edit for accuracy, grammar, format, etc.
  • Candidates are also appointed to liaise with other colleagues and support staff concerning routine administrative matters as well as other departments, and external parties under the direction of department staff.
  • Candidates will also have to provide backup support and other support functions to the department and section.
  • They’re appointed to participate in and assist with special projects and activities as directed.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must provide direct administrative support to the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager, as well as administrative support to the Project team.
  • They must track critical project documents through approval stages and set up and maintain files using the designated document control system.
  • They must attain the demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, under minimal supervision.
  • Candidates must attain the ability to use office technology.

  • Candidates must attain decent communication skills to be eligible for this post.
