Job Description
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to design, develop, implement, and evaluate a program within a specialized arts venue working at this post.
- Applicants are also responsible for administration and responding to public inquiries working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have Current Standard First Aid, CPR and AED certificates to be eligible for this post.
- They must have gotten AODA Customer Service/IASR training to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have completed the health and safety training required by legislation and by the Corporation of the City of Ottawa to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates must have dedicated knowledge of interpretive techniques and designing programs in related disciplines to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates must have excellent knowledge of the local arts community to be eligible for this post.
- They must have strong knowledge of developing training programs for instructors and volunteers using glazes, kilns, wheels, and clay.
- Applicants must have knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all City of Ottawa corporate/departmental policies and procedures related to Occupational Health and Safety to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- They must have very good oral and interpersonal communication skills to be eligible for this post.
- People must have training and instruction skills to be preferred for this post.
