Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are required to work with project managers, Indigenous government and organizations, provincial and territorial governments and stakeholders towards the establishment of new national parks.
- Applicants for this post are also appointed to provide research and analytical services and support and develop tools and products working at this post.
- Applicants at this post are also appointed to coordinate and deliver information and services to support the development, delivery and management of the National Park Establishment process working at this post.
Job requirement
- Applicants must have successful completion of post-secondary education to be eligible for this post.
- They must have an acceptable combination of education, training, traditional knowledge and experience to be preferred for this post.
- Applicants must have prior experience writing communication support materials and maintaining posters, brochures, PowerPoints, and background materials working at this post.
- Candidates must have prior knowledge of reconciliation initiatives and best practices in collaborating with Indigenous communities to build and support positive relationships to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the ability to communicate orally and in writing to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants Must attain AB-02 Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize his/her workload to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must attain the ability to provide administrative and logistical support to be preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Applicants must attain the ability to compile and analyze documents/reports to be considered eligible for this post.
- Applicants must ensure the willingness to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends statutory holidays and provincial or territorial holidays to be eligible for this post.
