Job Description

  • The candidate must plan and control budgets and expenditures.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing purchasing policies and procedures.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assigning, coordinating, and reviewing projects and programmes.
  • The candidate will be expected to supervise the cost and quality evaluation of goods or services.
  • The candidate must authorise the development of specifications for products or services.
  • The candidate will be expected to manage contracts.
  • The candidate will be expected to review and process claims against suppliers.
  • The candidate will be expected to supervise the analysis of data and information.
  • The candidate will be expected to oversee the preparation of reports.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide advice to senior management.
  • The candidate will be required to review quotations.
  • The candidate will be required to negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies.
  • The candidate must establish and maintain contact with suppliers.
  • The candidate must evaluate and recommend suitable building and construction materials.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
