Job Description
- The candidate must collect medical information from patients, family members, and other medical professionals.
- The candidate must examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries.
- The candidate will be responsible for helping patients in developing healthy habits, breaking old habits, and reshaping their wellness approach.
- The candidate must order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
- The candidate must consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
- The candidate will be responsible for prescribing and administering medications and treatments.
- The candidate will be responsible for performing and assisting in routine surgery.
- The candidate will be responsible for advising patients about health care.
- The candidate will be responsible for reporting births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other illnesses to government authorities.
- The candidate must be a patient advocate.
- The candidate will be responsible for coordinating or managing primary patient care.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing acute care management.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be licensed by provincial or territorial authorities and have passed the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II).
- The candidate should be client focused.

- The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
