Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to sell postal products and services to the business community and public applied for this post. People working at this post are also appointed to sort, distribute and process mail into appropriate classifications applied for this post.
Job requirement
- People applying for this post must have completed high school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have training and experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions to be preferred for this post.
- People must have an understanding of general or post office accounting systems to be considered as an asset for this post.
- People must be physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail and stand for extended periods to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work.
