Job Description
- Candidates are appointed to support the management team and superintendent by managing or leading discrete files of priority in the field unit.
- They’re also appointed to liaise with managers and staff in the field unit, other field units, the executive director’s office, and a wide range of national office functions.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a dedicated university degree in a discipline relevant to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training or experience.
- They must have dedicated experience in conducting program or policy research, development and analysis.
- Candidates must have experience planning, developing, implementing and monitoring projects or strategic plans.
- Candidates must have dedicated experience developing strategic planning documents, and monitoring and evaluating performance.
- Candidates must attain the ability to consult and negotiate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and partners.
- They must attain the ability to think strategically and to manage issues including collecting, organizing, analyzing and interpreting complex data.
Work setting
- Candidates must ensure the willingness to wear a Parks Canada uniform when required and possess a valid driver’s license.
