Job Description
- The candidate must administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment.
- The candidate will be responsible for assessing patients’ physical abilities.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting during assessment of patients, carrying out treatment programs, and developing patient-related materials.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians in the assessment of patients.
- The candidate will be responsible for carrying out treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
- The candidate must set up and disassemble equipment.
- The candidate will be responsible for administering evaluation tests and procedures.
- The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining clinical and progress reports.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining an inventory of equipment.
- The candidate must document the patient’s rehabilitation progress.
- The candidate must prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas.
- The candidate will be responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments.
- The candidate must teach and/or supervise exercises to patients.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
