Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for examining patients, taking histories, ordering laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
• The candidate must consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
• The candidate will be responsible for prescribing and administering medications and treatments.
• The candidate will be responsible for advising patients about health care.
• The candidate will be responsible for communicating health promotion, disease, illness, and accident prevention to patients.
• The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing primary patient care.
• The candidate must provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• The candidate must have College of Family Physicians (CCFP) Certification and pass the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and II).
• The candidate must be a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and licensed by provincial or territorial authorities.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.

• The candidate must work in an urban area.
• The candidate must work in a clinic and in private practice.
