Job Description

• The candidate must assist healthcare professionals.
• The candidate must clean and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
• The candidate must maintain supplies.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate will be expected to organise and keep inventory.
• The candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining fabrication and laboratory equipment.
• The candidate must keep medication inventories and prescription records for pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must be able to make oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
• The candidate must ensure that prescription information is correct, enter client information into databases, and prepare medications for clients.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a programme lasting one to two years, or equivalent experience in Pharmacy technician/assistant and Pharmaceutical sciences.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be accurate.
• The candidate should be dependable.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
• The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
• The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
