Job Description
- The candidate must assist health care professionals.
- The candidate must assemble and disassemble equipment.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising and directing the activities of other medical technologists or technicians.
- The candidate will be responsible for applying and adjusting casts, splints, and bandages.
- The candidate must assemble or build prosthetic and orthotic appliances based on drawings, measurements, and plaster casts.
- The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- The candidate must assist with scheduling and workflow.
- The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and dressing wounds.
- The candidate will be responsible for advising patients on the proper use and care of prostheses and orthoses.
- The candidate will be responsible for helping patients in completing menus.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting dietitians with research in food, nutrition, and food service systems.
- The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and restoring ocular prostheses.
- The candidate will be responsible for connecting treatment machines to patients as directed by the chiropractor.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting the chiropractor during physical examinations.
- The candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying plaster casts.
- The candidate will be responsible for performing general clerical duties.
- The candidate must prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing routine office functions such as reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
- The candidate must consult with ophthalmologists about the insertion of ocular prostheses.
- The candidate must schedule and confirm appointments.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
