Job Description

The candidate must provide bedside and personal care.
The candidate must administer medications.
The candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in water (i.e. pool).
The candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with bathing and other personal hygiene activities.
The candidate will be expected to assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
The candidate must be able to mend clothing and linens.
The candidate must provide companionship.
The candidate must provide personal care.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year in Health/health care administration/management and Health aide.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must have CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
The candidate must be punctual.
The candidate should be client focused.
The candidate should be dependable.
The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
